How can we engage younger audiences at autoshow and demonstrate Ford’s technological leadership?
Insight
Younger carshow visitors have passionate opinions about brands and about technology. By enabling them to share their thoughts and experiences publicly, we could demonstrate Ford’s technological leadership.
Solution
We delivered a world first by asking visitors to create the content of the experience. They submitted answers to questions via SMS or video. The questions were formal and informal allowing for opinions and simple greetings or expressions of emotion.
The text comments, photos and video messages were mixed with a music track by a video jockey. The mixing station allowed VJs to use touch to move media around the screen creating a spectacle that drew attention to the stand and to the opportunity to participate. Mixes were cued up and broadcast live throughout the day across a large scale LED screen for all to see.
Results
The experience has been presented around the world, generating in excess of 100,000 customer interactions, capturing valuable CRM data and winning numerous industry awards.
